(colloq) (debole) faible, petit: una mezza speranza un faible espoir, un petit espoir. 6. (iperb) la moitié f. de: lo sa ormai mezza città maintenant la moitié de la ville le sait. II. avv. à moitié. III. s.m. 1. moitié f. 2. (parte centrale) centre, milieu: nel mezzo della sala au centre de la salle, au milieu de la salle; il giusto mezzo le juste milieu. 3. (dopo un numerale) demi agg. (si accorda nel genere ma non nel numero con il nome che lo precede): due chili e mezzo deux kilos et demi; un chilo e mezzo un kilo et demi; sono le nove e mezzo il est neuf heures et demie. II. mezzo s.m. 1. moyen: con mezzi leciti o illeciti par des moyens licites ou illicites; il fine giustifica i mezzi la fin justifie les moyens. 2.
